About this Sauna

For those looking for a little more space and comfort from their garden sauna, the Scottish Saunas PREMIUM Barrel Sauna with Porch Seats takes the traditional barrel design and gives it a distinctly more luxurious feel.

At approximately 2.2m wide and 2.6m long, its larger barrel creates a wonderfully spacious sauna environment while still retaining the distinctive curved profile that makes barrel saunas so well suited to outdoor settings.

Inside, the Premium specification really comes into its own. The higher two-tier Aspen benching allows bathers to choose between different seating levels, while integrated footrests, finished bench skirts and twin Aspen backrests create a comfortable and beautifully finished sauna interior. Alder flooring provides another warm, natural timber finish underfoot.

Its larger dimensions also provide greater flexibility when choosing your sauna heater, making the Premium barrel particularly attractive if you have a specific electric or wood-burning sauna setup in mind.

The cabin itself is constructed from 40mm solid Thermowood, with a tempered black glass entrance door adding a contemporary contrast to the natural timber exterior. Three integrated vents promote balanced airflow, while the Icopal shingle roof, metal corner protection and painted supporting frames help protect the structure from the elements.

Integrated seats positioned outside the sauna create a small front terrace where you can cool down, relax or simply take a moment between sauna rounds. It’s a relatively simple addition that makes a considerable difference to how the sauna can be enjoyed.
