Please be advised that whilst our barrel saunas on a trailer are in-fact mobile, we do not recommend moving them around too much. Stick to main roads where possible when towing the sauna on a trailer as bumpy roads can lead to movement in the barrel boards and heaters. We do not accept liability for damages occurred after the sauna is handed over to the customer.
We do not deliver barrel saunas on trailers. Customers must arrange collection from our sauna warehouse in Fife.

Mounted directly onto a trailer, it creates a mobile sauna experience that can work brilliantly for wellness businesses, outdoor retreats, accommodation providers, events and destination sauna experiences.
Rather than offering a single fixed model, each trailer sauna can be configured around your requirements. Scottish Saunas can provide a suitable trailer or build the sauna onto a customer-supplied trailer, with different sauna sizes and configurations available.
The barrel itself is constructed using high-quality Nordic Thermowood, giving it the distinctive natural appearance of a traditional outdoor sauna while providing the durability needed for the Scottish climate. The sauna is professionally assembled onto the trailer by the Scottish Saunas team.
For commercial operators, mobility opens up some particularly interesting possibilities. A trailer sauna can become part of a waterside sauna experience, wellness retreat, holiday accommodation offering or pop-up event without requiring a permanent sauna building at every location.
Although designed as a mobile sauna, it’s worth treating it as a substantial sauna installation rather than a conventional lightweight trailer. Scottish Saunas recommends avoiding excessive transportation and using main, smoother roads where possible, as repeated vibration and rough surfaces can cause movement within the timber and heater components.

Troubleshooting First
If your sauna stops working, contact us. Our expert diagnostics team will guide you through a few simple tests to identify the issue. Many problems can be resolved with quick troubleshooting.
No-Cost Replacements
If the problem can’t be fixed and the faulty part is covered under warranty, we’ll send you a replacement part at no extra cost.
Heating Elements/Coils
For Harvia and Huum electric heaters, the heating elements and coils come with a 1-year warranty. If replacements are needed after that period, they can be purchased separately. All other parts are covered under a 2 year manufacturer’s warranty.
Wood Burning Heaters come with a 2 years manufacturer’s warranty.
Residential Use
A 3 year warranty applies to the timber and roofing aspects of the saunas unless damage is caused by the customer.
Commercial Use
For commercial customers, the timber and roofing warranty is valid for 2 years.
